Inflatable Air Mattress
When it comes to mattresses you have many choices, but none are more popular than the inflatable air mattress. Apart from being cheaper in comparison to inner spring mattresses, these kinds of air mattresses can also serve more purposes than just for in-house sleeping. Instead you can use these air mattresses for things like going camping or if friends come to stay and you need some extra bedding at short notice.
An inflatable air mattress may look a little like an inner spring mattress, but looks can be very deceiving, particularly with the new style of mattresses that are available these days. The real difference can only be found inside the mattresses themselves. Different from an air mattress, the average spring mattresses has a frame that is made up of lots of interconnected springs. These springs are made of solid metal with minimal flexibility and do have a strong tendency to sag over time. This is not the case with air mattresses because they are simply structured differently.
In contrast, there are air chambers that are found inside an inflatable air mattress. These air chambers provide the user with full back support because they allow allowing the person lying on the bed to assume the best and most appropriate alignment during their slumber, no matter which way they are laying.
In addition, there are usually three different layers of support found in an inflatable air mattress. Firstly, there is a dense foam layer that gives the user strong support as the mattress' foundation. Secondly, there are two air chambers that are designed to follow the use’s shape and then thirdly, a layer of soft foam is built inside the fabric that surrounds the mattress as the last support layer. These layers all combine to ensure that as you move, the air inside the chambers react moves with you, offering complete support to your hips, spine, and back in equal proportions.
